Your initial consultation is 90 minutes. This allows time for a thorough feeding assessment, discussion of your goals and challenges, hands-on guidance, and creation of a tailored feeding plan. You will also receive a follow-up phone call within the week to review progress and address any concerns.

Yes. With high-quality video and guided observation, Telehealth allows assessment of positioning, attachment, and feeding cues effectively. A secure video link is sent prior to the appointment.

Is lactation consultation covered by Medicare or private health insurance?

Medicare rebates are not currently available for private lactation consultants. However, some private health insurers offer partial rebates for IBCLC lactation consultations. Check with your provider for details.

What is the cancellation policy?
